Larry Harmon does NOT own the rights to L&H. He claims to own the rights to the L&H "characters" that Stan and Ollie portrayed in the movies...this, however is also highly disputed.

Larry Harmon owns the rights to everything Laurel and Hardy and is known for filing suit against anyone and everyone who so much as utters both names in the same breath. He makes a living by settling out of court with people and companies. That's why you see Chaplin and Keaton all over in ads, but never see L & H. No one will pay Harmon's outrageous prices and put his name in the ad.
