There is no such thing as a C-140, Your refering to a C-141, (I used to work on them in the Air Force) and their now retired, replaced by the C-17 at McQuire AFB.

It is a standard C-130 (A-N) model depending on date of manufacture. Both the AC-130 Spectre and the MC-130 Spooky utilize dual fuel pods on each wing, as does the HC-130 model. The outer fuel pod on HC-130 contains a retactable aerial refueling hose, as the planes primary mission is to refuel HH-60 Pavehawk helicopters which are used by Air Force combat search and rescue teams to pick up downed fighter jocks behind enemy lines.

Stick is right. It's a C-130. And actually there is a C-140. Air Force retired them a few years ago but the reserves are still using them. However, the C-140 is a jet aircraft and that is a prop job.

It's a AC130H Spectre/Gunship. They call it "Puff the Magic Dragon".

Actually, it's a C-130H

That's a C140, setting off its flares in huge bursts. Usually they're dispersed in patterns to detract heat seeker missles from the plane. Very cool. I like the way it looks like a giant Archangel when it's done. White plume win
